Once met him at luggage carousel late on Saturday nite. He was such a professional when I asked him about his rides on the day at Turfontein.I have huge respect for him as a jockey and he seems such good human being. This post is unnecessary.

Jumping on this late. I can't believe D-17's comments. May be talking from his pocket. And the al ciberano race. That horse was never a evens or 6/10 shot. Have a look at the form book on the last run with libertine. 3 length beating and now a weight turnaround of 3.5kgs on Friday night. Took a lot out of another legend jock delpech to get the horse up late.

His ride on lucky break was 1st class. Superman got it over the line.

His stats don't lie. His nickname is superman for a valid reason.

GP, A typical case of pricing the Jock and not the horse comes in the 9th race where Enforce has shortened from 15/10 into evens and is absolutely 100% not stable money, if the very capable Ant Mgudlwa was riding it would be 5/2 all day...win lose or draw the current price is a joke...

I sometimes wonder if the "pressure" for these kind of horses is exaggerated in the betting adjustments to try get punters to climb in at a price that is way under the odds??
