Uk and Ireland Sunday

Doncaster 15:55
Okay so the wind will drop but still a headwind, nothing like yesterday. It's rained some more so the going is going to be good to soft but softer than yesterday.
Edge Of Sanity looks like a very good ew bet, the horse has bags of stamina recently winning a 2 miler but has won previously over shorter in good to soft. The horse has a good draw that will give it some cover lets see if It can follow yesterday's Lincoln result!

Irish Lincoln later Bold Thady Quil always runs well in big race handicaps, finished 4th in this race last year and has ran his best races in the soft. Was rated 100 in the race last year running from 96 today and he had a collywebs run at Dundalk 33/1 with 5 places(uk bookies) hes worth a rand or 2 ew

Ger Lyons has one of the favs in Irish Lincoln, but he prefers he's other one.
THIRD DIMENSION,sired by Dubawi, who loved cut in the ground.
Not a race to go mad on,but 16/1 is ew bet.
I see they've named the 2nd race after the moderator.

EDGE OF SANITY
Ex Bolger horse. Won its first race last year after winning previous final race - same pattern as this year plus Mulrennan rode on its last run. Like the fact its back to 12f.
Decent e/w @ 16s but I have it without favs @ 7/1 with VELOCITER (17/2 without favs - 4.30) and NEW BIDDER (9/1 without favs - 1.45) in e/w patent.
Risking smallish e/w (without favs again ) on BOOMSHACKERLACKER @ 22/1 (4.55 Curragh)

R2 Ascot Golden Hoof E/W. Has a bit to find with both Puffin Billy and Thomas Crapper on official ratings, but Puffin Billy has never been completely convincing over fences and Thomas Crapper had a very hard race when runner up at the Cheltenham Festival. The selection tipped up at the first in that race and, as long as he is none the worse for it, can shake up the two favourites here. Trip and ground should be ideal and 5/1 is a fair price.
R7 Ascot Foundry Square. This isn't a strong race at all. Calgary Bay has his best days behind him and the likely favourite, No Loose Change, won a non event at Fontwell before showing nothing at all in the Cheltenham Foxhunters (may also want a bit further). The selection comes into the race off a very good run at Leicester when blinkered for the first time and will have no problems at all with today's distance or going. 7/4 is a decent enough price in a race which won't take much winning.

I see the Ballydoyle boys maybe hiring the GREATEST jockey riding now as stable jock.
Joseph O’Brien, Ireland’s champion Flat jockey for the last two seasons, will ride over hurdles at Limerick on Sunday, a move which has prompted speculation that Ryan Moore will become the principal jockey for the powerful Aidan O’Brien Ballydoyle yard.
