It is has come to our attention that the following has been suggested on three different threads on ABC Forum:-
1. “That Gold Circle has approached Government to take over the regulation of Horse Racing.” GC - This is totally untrue , totally without foundation and very clearly a highly irresponsible allegation to make. One can only wonder where such nonsense emanates from.
2. “That Gold Circle is in financial trouble.” GC – While the current financial year has thus far been challenging, Gold Circle refutes any suggestion that the company is in “financial trouble”.
3. “That for certain races prize money on Vodacom Durban July has been reduced.” GC – Whilst there have been no stake increases this year, there have also been no reductions in prize money in any instance. All races throughout Champions Season, including Vodacom Durban July day, are the same as last year.
