Via Africa Retired
10 years 4 months agoJust in case you guys missed Neigh`s post in the International racing forum ,his wonder mare Via Africa has run her last race and will be retired to become a Broodmare...
"She is going to stud. She has given Albert and myself years of amazing pleasure and we believe it wont be fair on her especially after Dubai and the quarantine protocols she had to go through this year.

New beginnings for her as a broodmare.
I will fill all the Clanners in, in due course, on our plans and her future, suffice to say an exciting new chapter in her life and ours.
Again, I would like to thank everyone for their support during her racing career. Special thanks must go to Howells Racing, Eric Sands and Mike de Kocks' team, all her jockeys, grooms and vets for making this an unforgettable experience."

I am sure we have an expert poster Muhtiman that might want to give his opinion?
Thanks for the memories.
