He is another victim of the ridiculous MR system rated 105 (was 109) and yet to win a race :woohoo:

titch if you don't understand a system rather not comment on it..put up his formgrids profile on here and then you tell me what rating would you give him considering his record....mdk puts him in group one and two races because he believes he can win not fill up the fields ...the stable said before his last run that he has breathing problems so clearly he felt this last time and probably having this issue dealt with...plenty sons and daughters of jet master have breathing issues and jet master himself had 3 or 4 wind ops

Pirates i see you continue to avoid my point, by design no doubt...as the system stands now the rating is correct which is exactly my point , any system that has a maiden on a net rating on par with an 11 time winner has to be flawed...If Jayyed and Unannounced ran in a 1200m handicap today they would carry levels.. go figure

is jayyed a 1200m horse did he get his rating over 1200m,,,is unn announced a 1400 to 1600m horse where did he achieve his rating over what distance?have you taken the weight for age allowance for 3yos into consideration ?how would unannounced got against harrys son over 1400 to 1600m considering jayyed represents harry son..you have zero understanding of how the system works titch zero ...what happened to the pe champion sprinter of 35 races when he went to the cape and beaten at level weights by horses who hadn't won a third of those races he won in pe...get it into your head how many races a horse has won DOENT EQUATE TO THE ABILITY OF A HORSE it IS WHO THEY HAVE COMPETED AGAINST ...

you want a flaw in the merit rating system then you tell me what merit rating will graduation day get after his win on Saturday ?the flaw comes from those people outside it who have put down these pathetic limits not the handicapers themselves

All smoke and mirrors BS but the fact still remains that if they met over 1200m they would carry levels

yes titch it is because outside people have put in limits so the handicapers hands are tied ..another example yesterday London call ran to around a 94 the time it beat Alyson wrights horse kotchka but because the ruling is he can only be penalised a max of 6 pounds he goes into a handicap offan 86 and puts the rest of the field under sufferance and he duly romps home starting at 4 to 10..a handicap by definition is meant to give every horse a winning chance and the betting should be wide open but due to these pathetic restrictions enforced on the hcappers they cant do their job properly...so is it fair on the rest of the field who are correctly handicapped ?is it fair on their owners?
