"Group" RESULTS - 'Evening' Wednesday 30th April Workings...
17 years 1 month ago
Evening.
This evening completed, and went as follows......
The 1st runner we wanted 3.0, and with being around 3.55 on arrival and with only dropping down to 3.25 at the lowest, before drifting right back out again, so we never see our lay price at any stage at all, so all had to avoid the race. The runner went and won a battle, so a fair priced winner, but more importantly a good leave.........
The 2nd runner we wanted 1.8, and with being around 2.18 on arrival, and all strategy play abandoned after the no play on the first runner, there's only a bit of trading left now and I'm willing to give it a miss, go and hit some balls, then watch the football. Good luck traders if you proceed......
WELL PLAYED.....
No play for 5 runner builders and rollers with only the 4 to work around......
4 runner builder/rollers couldn't get their lay price on the 1st runner, and with it winning, they'll be happy with that and breaking level for the evening, and day..........
Traders didn't get to lay the first runner, but good luck with the remainder guys, although looks tough.......
So the dull day ends with no play (ironic really), but just as well really, as the first runner went in, so good to avoid it and we'll just look ahead to tomorrow. Oh, and let's hope the clerks can get just a little bit nearer the right goings for tomorrow......Speak in the morning guys...
Marc.

Afternoon.
Firstly well done on last evening guys. A good start was had, then although we opposed a winner, we then hit the targets so after and so an early evening and the wages bagged. Traders also did well, so well played all.....Anyhow...
This evening's workings then, and here goes......
5.20 Great Leighs. AROMATHERAPY (3.55)
Our price 23/10 (3.3) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 3.0 or under, we'll go in for a lay. *Please note that a 'little' more emphasis has gone on the early market for clues, concerning this race*
5.50 Great Leighs. THE DIAL HOUSE (2.22)
Our price 11/10 (2.1) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 1.8 or under, we'll go in for a lay. *Please note that more emphasis has gone on the early markets for clues, concerning this race*
6.20 Great Leighs. KAY GEE BE (3.1)
Our price 2/1 (3.0) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 2.7 or under, we'll go in for a lay.
6.50 Great leighs. ROAD TO LOVE (1.95)
Our price 6/5 (2.2) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 1.9 or under, we'll go in for a lay. *Traders be aware that he likes to lead, or race very prominent in his races*
All races priced up with non runners taken into account, up until 16:33pm.
So with Kelso being abandoned due to the wet conditions, we're left with just Great Leighs and just the four races to work with. So no play for 5 runner players, and although 4 runner players will have a go, it's really looking tough, especially with needing to firstly 'get' a start, and then a 'good' one.
*Bank builders are advised to have a long think before committing themselves, as although it can go better than expected (hope so), I can only tell it as it is, and it looks very tricky this evening*
Good luck and speak soon..........
