.....if the executive management were doing their jobs instead of show boating.....the betting systems would be a priority and people responible to load them would be more passonate about their contribution.........the rot starts at the head....and if they fail to turn it around ......racing will be dead.... :(

Outside of local racing the executive is doing a fantastic job as their role is mainly strategic. They are getting it right most of the time which is reflected in good results outside of local racing.

It is operationally that things are falling down and yes they are ultimately responsible but those directly involved should be providing a more dependable output.

Vee's analysis of horses form/handicapping is phenomenal...Tellytrack made a good choice by having Vee on their Under Starter's Order program for the Borrowdale meetings

With all due respect,it looks to me you and him are on the same level...which is you haven't got a clue.Fee couldn't hit a winner if it smacked him in the face...how they keep on getting him to be on the panels for big race days is mind boggling to say the least.Should be abt finding winners, not giving explanations as to why this and that won't win.

Why would he charge a fee when he earns bombs for his job?

Not saying he isn't passionate but he hardly gets it right. Well done for his 4 in a row but at what odds ? Was it 4 favs?

I picked act of war and brutal force on the same day to win... Does that make me a good tipster?
I didn't choose the #puntlife, the #puntlife chose me!

.....there is no denying that Vee is a great form analyst as he was once employed and trained as a handicapper at the NHRA....and yet some of the bumf that he churns out on these big race day panels is truely laughable but also very entertaining as straight faced leg pulling or tongue in cheek cracks may be an attempt at humor are the order of the day....and as far as tipping 4 straight winners in any racing juristicion is impressive..

However Vee is an executive director and can ill afford to be the Nero hero and play fiddle while Rome is burning.....what happens when betting systems not being available due to technical or human error should fall in his patch and could and should have been sorted out
many moons ago.....what happened with the online betting system this past weekend is nothing new .....as it happens far to often and cannot under any circumstance be condoned . .... horse racing can ill afford to be mismanaged as it is not the only gig in town.....yet occurences like these are continuosly over looked....all you gotta give the demented punter is a few good tips and you are a demi god.....and f@rk knows how the punter is going to place a bet when the establishment you precide over cant even accept the bets ..... :woohoo:

You don't become a handicapper by not having a "clue" - Vee knows his stuff and can give you an intelligent reason why a horse can or cannot win a race.

However Mr Moodley is no longer employed as a handicapper......and his various attempts at trying to enthuse the waining customer base by making apperances on television to try and guide them is most noble.....but is missing its mark.....because sir, we clearly see that your house is not in order....

@Tero...tipping 4 favs don't mean shit...anybody can do that once a blue moon.

@Naresh...Yes I charge, but in life you get what you pay for.If its FREE its probably shit...

@Bob...Here's the thing,FORM STUDIERS like Mr Moodley and co are part of those 97% of losers in the short and long run.Simply becoz its no longer enough to say Horse A beat Horse B by 2lengths and now there is a 4kg turnaround so Horse B will beat horse A now...I cannot remember when is ever was,but definitely NOT so simply in these 10yrs I've become attracted to racing...yes in racing terms I'm a laitie, but what is laitie knows is that FORM is NOT the most important factor to find winners...Case in point would be too many too mention. So me saying 'he doesn't have a clue is meant towards his way of analysing a race(when I last heard him,I'll apologise if this has changed).
