I already have thanks RS
But do you think I should also have £1 e/w on My Da George?
Very tough card. Think I will leave most races alone.
R1 Narmada x A P Dancer without much confidence
R2 There is a fair chance Stunning Angel will take to the sand but I wouldn't say an extremely high chance. I would say her turf form has seemingly been improving but I would not say it is close to outstanding. She is well drawn and obviously could win but at 1/3, better off looking for place or e/w value imo. And the best value for me lies with Phantom's Girl whose last run can hopefully be discounted as reported not striding out. In her penultimate run, she was a comparatively decent 5th, drawn 12/13, over c/d with Sportorrio 3.5l adrift. Why the latter is around 10/1 to PG's 33s I have no idea. Two runs earlier she finished 3rd over c/d. Unfortunately, she has again drawn badly but given that a number of questions surround those ahead of her in the market I think the 33/1 is well worth a small e/w with Muzi booked.
R3 As with Stunning Angel, I would not be taking odds-on about Warcraft, indeed I am not sure I would back him at all as I have reservations as to whether he will perform on the sand. Obviously can't be sure but I see no real positive indicators. Again, I would rather look for place or e/w value but sadly, there is not too much to go on! Fatso from the 1 box could surprise to give the trainer/jock combo a quick double lol and it would not surprise me if Green Boegatti showed plenty of improvement on his sand debut run when behind Seventh Lute. SL would appear to be the stable elect for Stef and does appear to have a few held on his 2nd lto over 1200 but he goes from the 1 box to the 12 here. Given the odds, I would rather chance his stablemate Bushfighter. He showed some fair if uninspiring form in CT and there are possible positives in the breeding that he could take to the sand. He is drawn poorly in 10 but, at 5 or 6 times the price of his stablemate, I'd rather take my chances with him in a small e/w. My main hope though will rest with another sand debutant in the form of Tease The Wind. Although well beaten on debut on the turf it was not the world's worst field and hopefully he will be all the fitter for that run. With some potential breeding positives that he will enjoy this surface, from a good draw in 3, he will be my main e/w shout.
R4 ??? Major Vaughan perhaps
R5 Princess Chichibu partially repaid my loyalty lto and I won't desert her now. But, I do think there are a multitude in with a chance. The Queen and Nisa's Love make most e/w appeal of those priced up in single figures. The big value for me though could be with Rainbow Arrow who I think is over-priced. She is drawn very wide in 15 but she is not unaccustomed to wide draws or finishing in the mix from them. Perhaps not been at her absolute best of late but it was only 4 runs back she beat PC over c/d and at around 40/1 is a worthy R1 and change e/w nutter.
R6 The Cleveland Arms the most likely but Astro Boy and Latino's Jet have fair chances of reversing the form and, even more so than R5, there are many who could "surprise". To mention but two... if fit and well Play-Play must have a very decent chance and at big odds, My Da George might find life beyond the maidens a lot easier from the 2 box.
R8 ??? Caribbean Bay perhaps. R1 e/w nutter on Step It Up.
R9 ??? Wolverina from Atso Fields maybe, big maybe. Plenty waiting in the wings...
Be(s)t of luck to all
