security at totes/bookies

Second tote /bookmaker tht I usually go to has being robbed although this time just before opening hours also heard Hollywood was robbed a while ago.Security is a major concern hence I prefer punting frm home.The concern is no extra security measures after this happens.My opinion is that all totes and bookies should have a minimum security standard that needs to be adhered to.Come guys its just not our money that we banking with youll its our lives at stake.

Sure some bookies are gated and have security

Pie in the sky. most TAB outlets are in Dodgy areas. Most Bookies are in less dodgy areas, however as long as they are CASH based business they will be a target.

u cannot profile the clients in TAB or refuse entry as most are to busy for that, where as a bookies best. is a little less busy and u can profile your clientele.
