I was in the parade ring before the race, overheard the family say that the father had heart surgery a couple of days before the race and I heard him say that he wasn't going to miss the race even if had to get a an ambulance to pick him up. They seem like a very close family and I think they have a top horse on their hands. I ended up taking some swingers with my dads horse, which paid around R22.
