I see that that horse which was 100/1 and backed to win a few months ago is been backed again. Elegant Bay?

RED LUNAR
TRIUMVIRATE
TAQDEER strong place bet at 7-10 could win
PRINCESS CHICHIBU
SAN VICENZO my best place bet on the card e/w
HOSTILE TAKEOVER place
WOLF`S GIRL place e/w
BOSTON LEGAL places but ATSO FIELDS could win

I expect many braais tonight for the locals as there is no threat to prize money by raiders.

Devon Gold loves the sand (Vaal anyway) and Kethro is soft on his horses so would expect this horse could improve ..............and should just about win with no improvement ,anyway!

Good to know bud.

Don't get me wrong, Fabrizio could win with something to spare. Some Lateral's take to the sand, others don't. He is a half brother to Here Comes Billy which is a big plus but that one was sired by Muhtafal who is a decent sand sire. I am not "good" enough to say if he took to the sand or not in that last run but, even with the excuses, it was a hefty defeat in a very mediocre field. If he was 5/1 then my interest would be much greater and would possibly have got my vote as worth the risk... and, if it were that price, you would probably currently stand to lose everything you own! lol ;) ... but at under 2/1, I'd rather play an e/w elsewhere at bigger odds

I think today Manzai could break his maiden, badly outpaced last time but looked like the penny dropped late and was running on from last into 4th, maybe looking for this extra.. E/W claims
When you running with the big dogs, u can't piss like a puppy..

Watched the replay - he stumbled early on and was never going well after that - The horse that did impress from that run was IDEALISTIC who after racking up cricket scores in his first two starts, seems to have heard the call to be a racehorse.

Bob, I agree with Mr H... I watched it before and again just now, bit of bustling early then stumbled and that might have caused the defeat. It is only a might in my book though. Was 4-5l back at the first bend and beaten 8l, just a question of how badly it affected the horse. At under 2/1 I wouldn't be chancing it but others may of course choose to do so and may be right to do so, not for me though :)
