Even for Bingo this looks a tricky card to me and, as mentioned on another thread, not so many trainers with runners. Tread a little carefully. Or a lot carefully if you prefer!

R1 Avoid. Unless there is a shock in store, Lunar Red the obvious one with c experience but two "newbies" with possibilities, little evidence to go on though and short prices.

R2 I thought Triumvirate was a very decent price until I saw the stable were saying he will need the run. As such, I will probably avoid again as a few with chances at prices too short for me to risk with any conviction. Tease The Wind on c experience but Saffron and particularly Toughie Smith have decent indicators that they will take to the surface, either could easily win. Think Green Boegatti might well p1ss a few of us off one day...

R3 Very difficult to choose between a few, I took the easy route out in some ways and will chance the sand newbie, Wine Master. His half sister was a competent sand performer so hopefully he too will take to the surface and if so doing, his CT form looks good enough to win this.

R4 I didn't much like Fabrizio at the prices lto and though he had excuses that day, the jury is still out for me. Some sort of case can be made for all of them, even Phantom's Girl if recapturing the form of not so long ago. Watch Ford Country, received plenty of support on sand debut and may still have something in the locker yet to be seen on course. A few showed plenty of improvement dropped back in trip lto and have chances again. Not sure about the blinkers and possibly 3rd choice on jockey bookings but I'll have a small e/w on Lets Party from my fav stable. LP was reportedly not striding out on sand debut lto. He is a half brother to the relatively useful Party Peg who has performed ok on the Vaal sand and LP has a sire who is, probably, better known for "producing" sand performers. His PE turf form is a concern but went ok there on the poly and some not so bad efforts in CT. Decent draw in 3.

R5 Over Achiever particularly and What About Maria have claims but I'll stick with Princess Chichibu and hope the d suits. Watch for decent improvement from Nisa's Love, Khumalo booked. Pretty Lady, a chance. The possible value for me here could be Cadillac Baby. Not as consistent as once she was but her comeback run from a 17 week break behind Grey Area compares favourably with OA's run to the same horse lto (CB also out that day and hammered but I am ignoring that run and using inconsistency and 2nd run after a rest as the convenient excuses!). Also compares favourably with WAM on a line through Wimoweh. I will include Princess C in accies, chance CB e/w and have a small saver on NL but for all the waffle, not overly confident any of the three will win.

R6 Again a case can probably be made for most but I'll throw in two for consideration. Messenger John probably under-performed in his last two and his runs against Latino's Jet lto and just three runs back are possibly testament to that. Wide draws may have played a part so, with a much better draw here, it is possible big improvement on his last couple of runs will be shown. Coming out of the maidens and didn't beat much but I liked the manner of Bushfighter's maiden win on sand debut and possible he will enjoy the step up in trip. San Vicenzo possible trifecta horse.

R7 Hoping Il Palio will start improving his record over this d and has the draw to help him. If he fails then plenty have chances.

R8 Legend's Moon for me with Ethemba and Dukes Idol respected. Wolf's Girl might have been the selection but difficult to go with one from the Rugg stable currently.

R9 Hoping Rockspider gets a double in the last two races, I'll stick with The Queen. Plenty in with chances and wary of the sand debutants Bob Rock and particularly Devon Gold (has Vaal sand experience and gone well there, thanks for the reminder Rob F!). The R1 e/w nutter is Step It Up and those mad hopes were boosted somewhat by the stable comment that they hope to finish in the money.

Be(s)t of luck to all

Good outlay Englander. You and me look at this card at the same way except for Fabrizio. I still think he will run very close.
