I see he has finally resigned. I believe this is good news as he really did nothing in his time. My mate Andy o Connor should take over, just look at the great job he has done at the Titans. Racing needs racing men in these hard times not figureheads

Worse kept secret in racing that he was asked to leave, months and months ago
Was at one timed rumoured he was moving to the gambling board, maybe this is why the decision took so long ?

My own personal opinion is that a "Grumpy Old Man" needs to take over - Be hard but fair - Racing needs fair results as the more favorable the results the more punters reinvest -
