UK / Ireland Thursday
10 years 2 months ago
I'm not giving up trying to get folk interested in overseas racing..
Great meeting tonight from Sandown with a couple of Grade 3 races on the card
I think the stayers race over 2miles will go to Richard Hughes mount Vent De Force a good 2nd at Ascot Lately and should have fitness advantage over a few of its Rivals
In the Brigadier Gerard Tryster runs fresh from a brilliant winter on the weather and if as good on the Turf may be able to follow up

I like to follow the O'Meara yard in the north
Signore Picolo ran well last time and he's got the help of a 4kg claim today 7/1 ew bet imo

I like O'Meara's consistency Bob, his stable doesn't seem to go off the ''boil''....

Ijmaaly won by half the track last time and is reported to be a stand out horse. The reservations are that its a serious step up in grade and James Doyle goes for another. Don't be surprised if it goes in. Sandown 8.45
I'd rather have a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal lobotomy !!!!!!!
