Just listened to the interview....................and just made Imperial King the stables best.............lol.
I am NOT complaining as I am one who has previously stated that the public does not deserve favours(nor is likely to get any), but is proof ,IMO, that regulation, in the form of public work and barrier trials is the only protection punters will ever be able to count on!

We have ARMs on here, for punters who don't know what that stands for.
It's After Race Merchants.
We also have PAMs,which means Put Away Merchants, translated as feeding you shite.
I have had no bet there today,so it really doesn't affect me,but it is another kick in the bollocks for your day to day punters.
The plots I think are ok,but the spew some of these trainers give out is so pathetic.
Bob you've been well and truly led up the garden path.

Out of interest Engles, for someone who says they don't follow money.
What was the factor that persuaded you to punt the horse,I haven't looked at any races there.I may play if a trainer gives a negative about one.

100%,but Dave the only thing that surprises me is those that are surprised!!
Just the 2 pages of this thread (amongst 100's of others over the years) is indicative that the best advice you can take from racing is avoid the spin.
(There are a few stables that genuinely try and give help, but they are rare and a big salute to them ..............Shams,The Goose and a couple of others!)
Generally, its like playing Poker and hoping the bloke with the nuts is going to advise you when to fold!

Dave, I have not said I don't watch the markets, I just don't back supported horses as once I used to. There has been far too much "false" betting over the last year or two for that to be a wise betting method any more, should it even be "permitted". I totally brassed the fav, thought the form of the races of his 2 seconds were poor. I came down to 4... Party Games because of the price/stable and I think it could have done better to date on breeding, Triumvirate but Ziets didn't seem bullish (was not in Bob's poem lol), Star of Burma on breeding and Jedak, who had nothing in the breeding either way but some of his earlier form in KZN would give him a very decent chance if so. Recent form abysmal but with a change of stable/surface... when there was early support I did it at 6s. I also did SoB and R1 on PG and after Bob's second post, a saver on Triumvirate. And I'm not going to apologise for my waffle, you asked for it!
lol
