R5 For me they will have Nero to beat. The jock will overcome the draw and hold on to win.If you a Lord Windsor fan expect Start Your Engines for quartets.King's Joy has the beating of Nero but im not sure that was Nero's run.But Warbash ahead of King's Joy makes it difficult for KJ.The filly Spellbound has a chance but i make her a few lengths back. The MDK runner has not run on the surface and has dropped two MR points since his last run to Urgent Fury.

E/W Patent

R3 Buddy's Falcon
R5 Nero
R7 Lady Casey

R1 Magic if getting there in time but the Spies debutant Lena Laptev might make that difficult. R1s on Camps Drift and Spanish Blade.
R2 Not betting. Would chance Blue Tractor if I did. R1 on Winter Soldier.
R3 Far from convinced about Eastside, could win but I would rather look elsewhere and, with the draws taken into consideration, BF looked the best potential value to me. I would be more interested in Hazelnut but for the lengthy rest, only half-brother, Peanuts, had a couple of respectable sand runs. R1 on Motherless.
R4 Was not going to have a bet but if Uncle Tommy keeps drifting I will... generally an excellent sand performer and reported not striding lto here.
R5 Nero stumbled at the start lto and also might have had a momentary problem a few hundred out which seemed to lose him some momentum. Won both other runs here over this d but, the draw is a concern. Lord Windsor to take advantage if it is too big a hurdle for Nero to overcome. Fort Navidad might improve on a not so bad sand debut stepped up in trip.
R6 The Gobi is the most likely for me but a few that have the potential to surprise and a no bet race for me... apart from, R1 Yukon Gold.
R7 With 2kgs better off and a slight switch in the draws, Lady Casey under Lerena might just get the better of Qawaasem this time.
R8 Jet Trip could win the last with something to spare if taking to the surface and I think that is likely. Despite the draw, S'way might be best of those with c experience and has e/w potential at the price.

Be(s)t of luck to all

I find the sand very tough lately - and again the fields are very competitive - more or less a guessing game on how the track will run and which horses will be suited........need to take a stand somewhere and for me it is Eastside in the 3rd (I think has the gate speed to overcome the draw and imo has only the sand debutantes Hazelnut and Madam Alexis to fear), Kiss Me Hardy in the 4th (is too high in the ratings imo - but still very well in here and imo much better on the sand) and River Trip in the 6th (ran the 1200 much faster than The Gobi on the same day) - has most to fear imo from the sand debutantes Rushing Lark and Tiger Rider.

Jet Trip in the last also appeals in the sense that should she fail, anything is possible

Enjoy B)

Can anyone explain to me kiss me hardys Merit rating of 114 and the money piling on? It's won a maiden and a sprint on the track, other wins although impressive have come at bingo park. One run over the 1600 albeit on the turf started 75/1 and ran accordingly. Only thing that suggests he gets the trip is being by captain al. I am prepared for the egg but I really couldn't take 10/1 let alone 33/10. On the ratings seems a good thing but how did he get its rating is another question. Due to the money piling I'd rather stay out of this race but if forced to have a bet it would be on the stable companion, UT or royal rhumba.

Please don't take my comments offensively as I do not mean to offend anyone. I merely cannot have this horse and will not shirk at the egg if it appears.

Royal Rhumba and the Gobi is the talk on the one side, and
Kiss Me Hardy and the Gobi is the talk on the other.

Both doubles are still attractive odds

Big money on the double, the royal rhumba and the gobi.

Nero will run well, if portrait brings his sand work to the course it will win
