R1 Downpatrick Little Rocky. This looks a match between the selection and Moonmeister. The latter, who is making his hurdling debut, was in good form on the A/W at Dundalk over the winter. His last two flat efforts have been poor, however, and Little Rocky who has plenty of experience over hurdles was a higher rated flat horse in any case. Today's trip and ground should suit him perfectly and he can make his experience count. 7/4 is a fair price in an uncompetitive maiden hurdle.

R4 Downpatrick Rendezvous Peak E/W. Making his debut over fences and for Gordon Elliott today, but had some fair form over hurdles in the UK last season. This is a very poor race and, if he takes to fences, could make his presence felt. 9/1 is a very appealing E/W price (will probably go off shorter).

R5 Southwell Destiny's Gold. I don't think there is anything between the selection and the odds-on favourite Jalingo. The latter has arguably been a shade disappointing over hurdles and may need further as well, so the value is clearly with Destiny's Gold and he can give the favourite plenty to think about at around 11/4.
