Legal Eagle well and truly put them in their place in the Derby but that`s over further and his running style has suggested he needs trips..
Is there any bits of form that says any of the 3yo`s ( that will get a run) can be ruled out?

Bob,Legal Eagle won the derby trial easier (with contempt) than the Derby over 2000m so that is not a worry, but I hope that the course will have the sting out the ground on the day...........I don't think he will like it too firm.
I don't concur with the amended ratings from the Daily News so I have now settled for Legal Eagle and will have a saver on Majmu (I'm ignoring that last run behind Wylie Hall ............she was right in the dead going in the middle) so I have to use MdK's comment .........which makes her better than Ipi Tombe or Igugu ??????
If I was going with the older brigade,I would have no option but Wylie Hall.
I have given my reasons over Futura and the balance have had too many opportunities for me(there are a couple, like Tellina ,who would irritate cos that one has underperformed when I have gone for him so have given up, but we all know Sods law....lol)

I'm with Rob - Legal Eagle clearly the best of the colts - and for him to be receiving weight from French Navy after slamming that one in the Derby  Also Ertijaal getting weight from French Navy should bring them close together - The Conglomerate still a bit of a dark horse in that he may be better over the extra 200 than both Ertijaal and French Navy - not sure if he really closed in on Ertijaal in the DN - looked to me if he did not close over the final 200 - but I could be wrong
Still on exposed form Legal Eagle looks a few lengths better than all of those.
Deputy Judd on the Derby run may well turn out the biggest threat (of the 3 yr old colts) to Legal Eagle - still he was also beaten 3 lengths and will only be getting 1 kg in the July
Majmu for me is too high in the ratings - if the 'running in worse going' is the only excuse for her being beaten by Wyllie Hall, at the July weights for me she will run behind WH again - why would an experience jock like Delpech (having won the Oaks the race before on Pine Princess) make the mistake of not going where the 'better going' is ? Also she received 4.5 kg's from Halve the Deficit (beating him by 2 lengths) that day - in the July she will have to give Halve the Deficit 1/2 a kg - that's a 5 kg swing  She should have won that race, and if she did not have any other excuse (bar the going) then I don't see why she should turn the tables on WH and may well have her work cut out to run in front of Halve The Deficit (although I don't really think that he gets the 2200)

Much was said earlier in the season a out the colts not being that good. Actually the fillies have not done a lot against the colts at all . Majmu may be top notch but she has not taken on the July contenders for the 3 year olds , and her collateral form with the filiies that have isn't that great. Can't be taking her at her price.
French Navy has been excellent and consistent. Ertijaal and the Conglomerate run their races in a fashion that may see them in with a good shout where others are having bad luck stories . Lega eagle was impressive last but interested to see his upcoming prep.He ticks most boxes.
So yes , as the opening poster suggested , can't rule any of them out.
Personally I already backed The conglomerate , and Whylie. Also had a little flutter on Helderburg ages ago but that looks like a fail at the moment. I. Will probably change my mind more than a few times going into July.

Hang on safely to your Helderberg Blue ticket I climbed in on places 1st 5 at Wold of Sport. At the weights he has a lot of runners stone cold. Hope he gets a run. Last year they left out Master Sabina hope they don't make same mistake with Helderburg Blue. We took some 100/1 and 66/1 Hollywood offered on The Conglomerate now just crossing fingers.

What are the chances Tamaanee gets a run? Beat both Vino Veritas and Touch the Sky by nearly 4lengths in Rosenberg, both then won their next starts so not bad form line.. Pulled a shoe in the woolavington which would explain the below par run maybe, surely selection panel would put a line through that run and give her a chance.. With all the scratchings of horses ahead of her on log, I think Its safe to take the antepost price?
When you running with the big dogs, u can't piss like a puppy..

Her time in the Rosenberg matched and bettered the Presidents carrying five pounds more

Even if Tamaanee gets a run (currently I have her at #17) she will be 1.5 kg's under sufferance. For me Helderbetg Blue is a much better place bet proposition - I think he will make the final field and at the weights and if he is aloud to set the pace like in the Met, he could sneak a place imo
