Accurate journalism ?

The following is an extract from an article on tabnews relating to the jubilee. Call me petty but this was not how the race was run. It might be irrelevant to the result but you would expect more accuracy from our journalists.
Despite having to handle top weight of 60.5kg, Marcus wasted no time in taking the three-year-old off to the front, closely followed by Cagiva and Piere Strydom in second.

Jack Milner. But he is not alone, on the same website there is an article by Geoff Lester on Royal Ascot. He says "Night of Thunder, the only horse to have gunned down Frankel(in last years guineas)"

lol, yeah think that's what he meant, but surely just typing out such a hallowed name would have rang a bell

its not even worth discussing these issues as nothing ever changes with our newspaper journos ..the fish stinks from the head in this regard
