Arthenus at Newmarket, had it`s couple of learners, big approvement lastime and the trainer has started to run into form...( winner yesterday )

R2 Gowran Park Cecil Corbett. Has improved enormously since joining Gordon Elliott with two solid runner up efforts. This is much weaker than his last two assignments and he will be very hard to beat. 15/8 a good price.

R5 Gowran Park Supreme Vic E/W. Nicely handicapped on some of her old form and has looked to be coming back to her best the last twice. This isn't a very strong handicap and she can make the first four at a very appealing 16/1.

R6 Gowran Park Voiseys Bay E/W. Has been running consistently well recently, is capable of further improvement over hurdles and the step back up in trip should suit. Can make the first four in an open handicap at around 8/1.

R5 Lingfield Idle Talker. This is a desperate race where very few have anything at all to recommend them. The selection is dropping in class and posted his best ever run over this course and distance two runs back. Wasn't disgraced in a competitive little race last time and, if he is ever going to win a race, then this is it as the opposition is almost non-existent. 13/8 is a very good price (will almost certainly go off a fair bit shorter).

Race 4 at Lingfield Whitecrest is on a hatrick but has won of higher Marks in the past so can go in again...

Her last win was a lot better than the bare form, Bob. She got very upset at the start and missed the break, but still came through to beat a horse who was at the top of his game. Silverrica should provide the strong pace Whitecrest needs, so no surprise if she follows up tonight.
