Forecast seems good for Saturday, a bit of rain on Friday but clear on Saturday.

Before you all dive in it is worth reviewing finals’ results since 2006. Hereunder is a table detailing them :
2006 Crusaders 19 Hurricanes 12 +7
2007 Sharks 19 Bulls 20 +1
2008 Crusaders 20 Waratahs 12 +8 T
2009 Bulls 61 Chiefs 17 +44 T
2010 Bulls 25 Stormers 17 +8
2011 Reds 18 Crusaders 13 +5 T
2012 Chiefs 37 Sharks 6 +31 T
2013 Chiefs 27 Brumbies 22 +5 T
2014 Waratahs 33 Crusaders 32 +1 T
T= Intercontinental travel for the away side to the final.
Where no intercontinental travel was involved the biggest winning margin was 8 points.
As the difference between the Hurricanes and Highlanders does not appear to be that huge it would seem unlikely that the winning margin will exceed 8 points as finals usually produce a more muted style of play dominated by defences.
Only one ‘away’ side managed to win in this period – the Bulls courtesy of Brian Habana’s miracle try long after the hooter had sounded.
Goalkicking is vital – ask Frans Steyn after he missed converting the Sharks’ late try in the selfsame clash.
Nevertheless history and form suggests that the Hurricanes should win this one. I also feel the Highlanders ‘played their final’ last week against the Waratahs and face a third successive tough encounter in as many weeks. The Hurricanes never appeared to have to engage maximum revs against the Brumbies after a slowish start.
Comparatively it is not so easy to find the July winner!

It's a final,so although these are the two teams who have played the best attacking rugby this year, this could easily be a game where neither team plays the same game plan as they've played all year.
They won comfortably in the end last week, but the Highlanders had played a much tighter game up until about the last 20 mins than they have done previously this year.
The Hurricanes are the likely winners, but I'd tend towards the outright 4/10 rather than any handicap if you want to back the Hurricanes. This is a final and the bounce of the ball can switch a game like this.
Personally I'll just watch this week and shout for the Highlanders, they've been good to me this year.
