UK & Ireland Tuesday

R1 Stratford El Massivo. This looks a straight match between the selection and Personable. The latter is making his hurdling debut and has not run for the best part of two years, whereas El Massivo showed plenty of promise over hurdles last year and has been in top form on the flat recently. Can be another winner for Richard Johnson and 13/8 is a fair price (will probably go off favourite and shorter).
R3 Stratford Bigindie E/W. Showed plenty of improvement when getting off the mark at Southwell last time. This was the first time he was held up and the new tactics worked perfectly. This is a better race, but now that connections seem to have found the key to him, he can go on improving. Should be able to make the first two at a very appealing 7/1.

I`ve done an early yankee for an interest
St Georges Cross - ran well on debut at Notts
Venus Marina - Dropped in class and Jock flying
ICY BLUE - ran well last twice and is well drawn
Red Perdita - just because i had to pick one

R5 Stratford Bus Named Desire E/W. Disappointed last time, but made a couple of early mistakes which seemed to unsettle him and he was never able to get properly competitive afterwards. Had previously won well at Uttoxeter and tonight's longer trip should be in his favour. This is a weak race and he can make the first three at least. 8/1 a decent price.

Well done with your winner then Steck
did you see two former Abbaye winners were running in a little 4 runner egg n spoon race in scotland today?

Yes, Bob - extraordinary (even allowing for the fact that Tangerine Trees clearly isn't the horse he once was). Would have backed Spinatrix to beat the pair of them if she hadn't been pulled out (presumably because of the drying ground), but the way Move In Time won, I think I would have done my money.

Come to think of it, the race was named after an Abbaye winner as well.
