July in Jozi presented by Betting World

championship chasing jockey Gavin Lerena, who is locked in a titanic
struggle for the title with reigning champion S’Manga Khumalo. Lerena was
eleven clear at the beginning of this week, but with both jockeys
travelling to different centres virtually every day the tally can change
dramatically week by week. Lerena has eight rides at the “July in Jozi”
Turffontein meeting while Khumalo has nine rides down at Greyville.

“July fever” sweeps the country at this time of year, so a racing venue is
where you would want to be to lap up the atmosphere and festivities.
The July in Jozi presented by Betting World theme will be the same as the
actual July theme, the Captain’s Table. It was only the most elegant that
