Snaith holds the key... lot of well bred new comers and a couple with form in the other races.

Re: Durbanville Wednesday
10 years 1 month agoRace 8 Emerald Rose 5/2
The Snaith/Fourie combo is always worth following, especially with unexposed types like the selection.
She won her maiden very comfortably by 6L ,beating Glamour Gal who has since franked the form.
Her two runs prior to her maiden win have also been very well franked with the winners and placed horses winning or running well in listed events.
The extra 100m should be no problem and with expected improvement she might end up a class above her rivals today.

SALINGER must really have been a looker to reach 600k as the previous foals were slothful in truth - Five runners and only 5 wins between them. Perhaps the stallion has upgraded?

stallion thrown a few winners, the horse is drawn 1. it aint got to be a superstar to win. bare in mind snaith does gallop at this course. he has many interesting runners today

I agree looking through it, must look the part but even so 600k plus training from a yearling its a huge risk to break square if you had to go by pedigree. As far as im concerned the stallion hasnt set the tracks alight yet.

It is more the Team V element that gets my attention - Irwin no fool so he saw something to go that high - I've included in bets on that alone
