What do clanners think? Does this have a place or does it diminish the idea of a horseman/woman's instinct and ability to understand and train a horse?

Wearable technology is becoming massive and looks set to impact sport in a big way. Attended events at the Cricket World Cup surrounding this and now off to Manchester on Sunday with an announcement involving City and something similar during the course of next week.

At the moment tennis players like Nadal are using racquets with embedded technology (only at training for now) that literally keeps track of every single shot played and inch covered of the court.

I've seen first hand how keeping a log of the heart rates of horses working out on treadmills have an impact on fitness, just curious how many trainers would actually pick up on this technology or would it be shunned?
