UK and Ireland Tuesday

Stosur 7-25 Brighton,worth a tenner at 12/1
The form of her last race at Brighton in May is very good, she was beaten less than 3 lengths into 5th behind Tears Of The Sun over a trip that looked a bit to short. The 2nd that day was Elbereth, who won a 30 grand race at Epsom next time out.The third Boonga Roogeta won a class 2 race at Chelmsford, the 4th won a handicapp at Windsor by 8 lengths.
Last time out Stosur ran in a hot Newmarket handicapp, finishing 5th behind some big stables.
The trainer has got a shorter priced runner in this race(yojojo),but T J Murphy has ridden both and assuming he had the pick,he's elected to ride Stosur.Shame there's not enough runners for an ew bet,but at the price I think it could go well.

R3 Pontefract Merry Me E/W. Improving and well drawn. Should go well, especially if the forecast rain arrives. 9/1 with Coral is too big (will go off shorter).

Was given Mr Mafia at 16/1 in 6-40 Uttoxeter.
Form of it so far has been woeful,it's gone off at prices ranging from 66/1 to 200/1.
This must be a piss poor race.

R5 Pontefract Smooth Operator. Was a beaten favourite when only third at Redcar last time, but probably ran well, as the first three were a long way clear. That is the best form on offer here and, if he can improve on it, he will be hard to beat in what looks a weakish maiden. 11/4 or better a good price.
