The one that should be "Wukkin Up" is the punter thinking he can take a bet knowing the rules & the risk if he does not include the 1st Timer...he has clearly accepted the risk when he left that 1st timer out.

In a race where you have 2 favorites, 1 of them racing from a 17 draw and they have tried to win 5 & 9 times respectively clearly no superstars and you have Wukkin Up ridden by Alec Forbes that already had a winner by then (Bunker Bill) on a decent Trainers horse (Anthony) that has his first horse running for the day of only 2 the other one having no chance and does not even have a jockey declared yet...

No use crying about it when you knew the rules and the risk not picking that 1st timer

Forbes was NOT carded to ride this horse - Replaced Kennedy(6% strike rate!!!) - Had never seen the horse before he stepped into the ring. Anthony has a 5.8% strike rate - Last win on 11th March - The Dam never won a race - No other foals to compare with - MULLINS BAY is no superstar sire and was put on auction by Summerhill in February and actually died earlier this year with his best horse to date being a five-time-winner GIATANO who won a protected race and placed in a Gr 1- The horse had ZERO betting support drifted from 33-1 to 50-1. As to the other horse not having a jockey, Kennedy was also supposed to ride that. There was no indication other than guess work that this horse would win. The other first-timer finished second last

And further if you look at the dam she ran her best places over 1900m and actually placed over 2500m while Mullins Bay was a 1600-1800m horse so where a punter could find that horse was actually a sprinter on paper is beyond me - The only way a punter would have a fair go was if the horse had a BARRIER TRIAL.

Make no mistake I am tge first to support Sectional timing and barrier trials, but if you have rules that you are dealt with, those are the rules you play by,

We had 6 runners in our JP 1,2,3,12,15,16

Card changes was declared way before the JP started

Wukkin Up, still making alot of noise for the punters but this time for the favorite backers. Sold I think after the first run but going strength to strength after its fourth win today proving it's no dog after its debut win!!!!
