Or "Fark off you can't have a bet"

Thought i would have a couple of bets on the Europa League Qualifiers.Betway sponsor West Ham so should have plenty of fans willing to take a punt.
Just been offered £2 at 11/4,there liability is poxy £5-50.What a load of bollocks.

Sent the wankers an email.they replied

Hi there David

Account :

Thanks for contacting Betway Sport Support.

Every sports event has an individual level which can be increased or decreased for reasons ranging from integrity to price volatility.

It's the trading teams responsibility to manage these levels and their decision is what have to go by.

As this is the case your account is limited at this time. These limits are reviewed on a monthly basis.

Although we do respect and appreciate your position on the matter our Trading Team manages the risk according to set parameters and sadly, we in Customer Support cannot override these parameters.

We recommend that you please consider reducing your bet in increments until the bet is accepted as we are unable to tell you an exact stake you could place, or exact winnings.

I would also like to add our limits are constantly observed and monitored by our Trader Team.

They can vary from one minute to the next due to a lot of factors. Market, customers' requests to name a few, are some of the factors that can be modified.

Please note that all of them fluctuant and change a lot before the start of the event.

All the best,

The Betway Team

Try taking a Yankee or an ATC

Try their sports book and they shut you down as quick as any

So its not entirely true that the UK and surrounding punts more than us? U do punt alot --just in rather small amounts. I battle to understand such low limits. Unless u guys are hitting them every week. Which I doubt with the amount u are allowed to punt.

Doesn't have to be winning bets

Bookies hate punters that abuse their generous odds, they want to offer the best possible odds but don't want clued up punters taking advantage of errors.

I was closed by bet365 for betting 3 losers, but they all shortened dramatically in the betting.

the same has happened to me with interbet on their own horseracing arm where they only lay the actual price not the stretch..was told its not for pro punters only for part timers who play for fun...limit cut from 10k a win to 2000 and place bet to 800...this is at the price

Bookies don't mind people winning, they just hate getting what they perceive as being shagged by buy one get one free punters and value seekers.

Years ago bookies hedged the "hot punters money " or used the info to their advantage but now they just chase
