Mine is fav in second and its best run was 8,5 L behind in 4 runs so a bit of a joke Supreme leader should have been odds on in that race - its more a case of being desperate to run him in this race than anything else think he will be ok on the sand but running Thursday on the Vaal over 1450 which most probably distance wise is closer to the ideal

No disrespect Bignic but you are the 2nd highest merit rated in the race. Had Gato Nero not run last week he would have been odds on. 15l back last Monday and he looks an unlikely winner. Having said that you have 10 horses rated above you on Thursday so surely this is far easier to win. If for some reason Gato Nero gets scratched it will go down as one of the weakest maiden races of all time with you being top running off a 44!

True about Thursday though much better suited to 1450 will have two more starts before retiring him if you get my drift -except if he shows vast improvement which I doubt -Just posted to warn all that he shouldnt be favorite he dont show anything and its just trying the last options

I think cape grey will win the firs race tomorow. 5/2 looks a good price and will surely start shorter

Cape Grey from draw will struggle I personally think The late Vernon Ruggs stable will have a good day and Tienie Prinsloo will be back after last weeks 7 losing favorites

any reason why cape will struggle with draw ?
got enough gate speed from what I've seen
and also last run was drawn 10 and still came out leading at the turn
drawn 11 this time so not much difference

Flamingo Parks sand track details and selections.
Nine races ,under starters orders at 12:20PM
Going - STANDARD
Race 1 looks a very poor maiden with nothing much to recomend any of the runners. If i had my arm twisted CAPE GREY would be the selection ,poorly drawn but she handled a wide draw last time and showed gate speed that day.
Race 2 Another shockingly bad maiden PASS
Race 3 SAN VINCENZO is probably a harder knocker than some of todays rivals, it was a better performance against stronger opposition last time and the Bill Human trained inmate looks set to earn here.( 3 x winner over CD )
Race 4 EASY TO PLEASE debut run was good enough to win this , he was smashed in the betting that day but ran green ,that experience and the bonus of Lerena on top should be enough here.
Race 5 Over Achiever will go close for Steph Miller but she is stepping up in trip quite dramatically and also taking on open company. So will take a chance that AFRICAN GLADIATOR`S last run against better sorts is a sign that he`s ready to visit the winners box again after slipping down the ratings .
(7 x winner at Flamingo)
Race 6 ALIBABA`S JEWEL`S made a very pleasing local debut and from a good draw can go very well ( much better than these at best ) . Not a big betting proposition because of past bleeding problems so add a few into the exotics.
Race 7 IRON DRAGON has not been overley penalised for his last win and is reasonably consistent over this trip..
Race 8 SHE`S A TIGER would be a big runner on the best of her Vaal sand form ( stronger center ) and has run reasonably well at the track before but if WOLVERINA is fit enough after the rest she is probably hard to beat.
Race 9 PASS
