Trust all are well and winning :)

Rob F hits the nail on the head imo... how Vaal sand is still continually reported as "standard" defies all logic, tis only laziness, contempt for the punter and/or sheer stupidity which allows this practice to continue. Long long long past the time that this should have been changed (and in turn reported accurately in the form publications). While this practice continues it is a very sure sign that nothing in racing is changing and no-one gives a sh1t about you, the punter. It is not only meeting by meeting... how do you know how the track was running one, two, three, seven etc meetings back... so how can you trust the reported form?

Usisi most likely imo but couldn't be backing an odds-on here with so many questions concerning the course.

R1 Pride In Battle e/w
R2 BATTLE BORN e/w (when 5s)
R3 Plenty questions with few pointers as to the answers pre-racing imo so would rather stick with the form and chance A Love Supreme e/w and hope the blinkers also help.
R4 Benbow if Usisi fails
R5 Could be a decent race. Has to be questions regarding the trip for TT and the draw won't help. Across The Ice e/w value for me and a nibble on Stavinsky. Percursor respected but also a wide draw.
R6 Also looking forward to this race. American Tiger and Roman Carnival both shown useful form on the surface and Trip To Rio has the breeding and draw to suggest he could be a major player. At a push I would go with RC.
R7 Tacitus put in a decent effort behind American Tiger and could be right there along with Big Shot. The interesting one for me is Mulberry Bay who, with the Alexander stable in form of late, if finding the form of his maiden win, could represent decent value at around 20s from the 3 box. Fortune is up on the stablemate Divine Grace but the draw of 9 might prove problematic. MB small e/w nibble.
R8 Wide open. If Conne Mara Black can get to the front from the wide draw without using up too much energy then could prove difficult to peg back. Spellbound possibly some e/w value.

Be(s)t of luck to all

If Strydom has ideas of holding on to triptease Fire Horse could be all over him t the turn, might even try and cross him, bumpy race?

Can i join in the shouting. WIN. COME ON.
I would like to see Guest Lodge win as belle vue as just won. Thats how a favourite should win . Had that 1st race won a long way out. Good for the punters who where on. No panic their for favourite backers.

Well I guess Won't Wait wouldn't wait for the start

Still not sure what to make of that form - Battle Born pretty much staggered across the line - not finishing too far in front of a horse that was beaten 11 lengths at Flamingo on Monday
