Horse Conditioning - RE: Champions Day

Hozwit Guys
Require an informed decision regarding the subsequent cancellation of the big day and postponement to this week a whole week later.
How is the conditioning of the horse affected regarding it being prepped to 100% for the big day then having to be kept at that same level for an entire week?
Is this possible or are we in for a few shocks?

I wouldn't be too worried about it , it will be more like 10 days from when the announcement was made that the meeting was being postponed until race day .
Remember the rain had fallen for days before hand so not sure if fast work had been done ?
Plenty UK trainers run horses 2 and 3 times a month ( sometime more )

I think the bigger worry should be the state of the turf track - as I'm led to believe that more rain is predicted towards the end of the week
