Cecil the Lion

What a sad story of the lion been killed in a hunt, illegal or in a legal way. Seen pictures and videos of the lion. It was a truly impressive lion and a beast of an animal. Rest in Peace Cecil.

The sack of shit who killed him is Walter Palmer from Minnesota, and his guide a Theo Bronkhorst. The latter is appearing in court later in the week regarding this matter. Palmer has killed many animals with his bow and arrow. Cecil was collared and was in a programme financed by Oxford University. These two lured him out of his protected conservation area with a dead antelope at night. Palmer then shot him with an arrow. Cecil did ran off and 40 hours later yes 40 hours later the two of them found him He was still alive, barely. They then shot him.

Lets hope that justice is truly served.

An absolute disgrace. They say the money is used for conservation(their excuse for killing for money) but very little if any is put back in by most farm owners etc. What this F..king idiot does not realize or want to even think about is that there are 24 young cubs in his pride and those will in all likelihood be killed by the next dominant male that takes the pride over. He only wants his offspring in the pride (besides the lioness's) and it brings them into season again quickly for him to cover and bring his own genes into the world. All for money and an ego. I hate them with a passion. Culling if really in need is acceptable but canned hunting especially or using bait as they did and shooting an animal feeding is barbaric.

The pig bastard should be shot in the belly with a crossbow and left to bleed to death in the bush. Let the hyenas or lions eat him alive! Killing a tame lion with bait!!! You couldn't find a more cowardly act if you tried! This is a diabolical outrage, an abomination! Thanks for the contact detail. Let's not sit around and do nothing for a change. I say we call this number and harass whoever answers it. When they change the number, which they will, we find the new one and do the same until this lion feed (he is worth no more than that) goes out of business!

I hope the 'guide' (pile of shit) goes to jail for a very, very long time...and is brutalised everyday he is there!

Very sad story

Nothing will ever be done until hunting animals for the "thrill" is banned

i like hunting but I would never hunt protected wild life or predators something bout the idea of hunting a predator just feels very wrong.
