Thanks ABC
I see some of the text is not clear so I'll post below
Sponsorship for Racing to Jump Vaal, August 29th.
Cost per jump – R5000.
This includes a jump being named after the sponsor, a R1000 donation to the Horse Care Unit, television coverage during the day via Teletrack (channel 239 DSTV), name in the Computaform and a Hospitality table for 4 at the course. Banners and advertising material to be provided by sponsor which can either be part of the jump or placed on the railings or in the arena.
Jumping is an important part in the extension of a horse’s life after Racing and with this in mind it is an event worth supporting.
Pictures of the event held at Turffontein Racecourse Sunday May 24th 2015 below

This yard was raided last week or lately after a group of Vaal trainers were concerned over the welfare of the horses on the premises
Stories i`m hearing a quite bad and hopefully a good outcome was reached
• No bedding
• Borrowing feed
• Riding horses being stabled with racing horses
• Sick horses

The National Horseracing Authority confirms that at an inquiry which was held in Johannesburg on 2 March 2016, Trainer Brett Webber was charged with a contravention of Rule 10.5.1 in that he failed to provide a reasonable level of care to the horses under his control, by not providing them with sufficient bedding between 5 and 8 February 2016 when his stables were inspected.
Trainer Webber pleaded guilty to the charge.
The Inquiry Board found Trainer Webber guilty and in coming to a penalty, the Board considered all the relevant facts and what Mr Webber had said in mitigation and ruled that Mr Webber be fined the sum of seven thousand five hundred rand (R7 500.00) of which five thousand rand (R5000.00) is wholly suspended for a period of twenty-four months on condition that he is not found guilty of contravening this rule during that period.
Mr Webber has the right of appeal against the penalty imposed.
