The Right To Choose

I'm sure that I am not alone ,as a punter ,in being fed up with having to suck the hind tit everytime there is a issue or dispute in the industry.
I have decided I will open an account with any on-line bookmaker who prices up the day before a racemeeting and for each new account opened, I will close one who reflects SP the day before.I find that not being able to place bets before 10 o'clock on raceday, damn inconvenient.
If others feel the same ,then, instead of fighting each other so much on this forum ,why not take an opportunity to act collectively!
Perhaps we could start with a list of bookmakers who have taken the decision to price up early?

(There was mention on another thread the other day that some bookies are going to do their own prices ..............no sign of that yet, but wish they would get to it!)

I have moved all my money out of Hollywood and into Interbet

I Like Hollywood great service but pricing up on the day doesn't help me
Some guys don't have the time on the day to watch betting and have a punt

Went through what the guys have tipped for today and then went to TAB Gold to view the prices. Nothing. A couple of hours before the opener and nothing. Whoever is in charged should be sent on a business course. How much business have they lost this morning as I am sure that people who go to work like to place their bets prior to leaving as most don't bet during working hours. UK bookies don't have the odds up either as they take them off the SA sites. Its no wonder racing in SA is going down the tubes.

This is the perfect opportunity for bookmakers,to gain, retain, or simply lose customers.

At the end of the day, unless your an absolutely nog bookmaker, having a bookmaker license is like owning a printing press. It's about time bookmakers employed staff who can price up a position and then let supply and demand dictate how that price moves.A whole market being dictated to on the basis of someone taking a few rand of a horse on Interbet could never be a successful market strategy.

For too long bookmakers in SA have been far too lazy and simply let one man price up for a whole industry.

Price fixing if ever I saw it.
