This match in all intents and purposes is a friendly but because of how the two managers feel about each other it will not be a friendly. Arsenal have looked very good in their friendlies whereas Chelsea lost to the 2nd team of the New York Red Bulls. The season kicks off next week and whoever wins this match will have a boost but in the end it means nothing. Where you finish come May is all what counts.

You forgot to mention Chelsea beat Barcelona after the Red Bulls Game and Arsenal played all their pre season games at The Emirates to suck some more wonga from their librarian fans.

these were the two teams when they played

:

Courtois, Ivanovic (c), Zouma, Cahill, Azpilicueta, Fabregas, Matic, Kenedy, Oscar, Hazard, Diego Costa.

Barcelona:

Ter Stegen, Bartra, Douglas, Adriano, Mathieu, Busquets (c), Rakitic, Gumbau, Ramirez, Suarez, El Haddadi.

a vitually full strength Chelsea side and a Barce team without Messi, Neymar, Iniesta, Alves, Alba, Mascherano I would not see or say too much about beating them

Chicken, you must lead a sad, lonely life. You really need to get out a bit more and stop googling facts about everything, you need taking out for a session.I didn't watch the Barcelona game,I've got no idea who played.I didn't even watch the Charity Shield,as I refuse to pay for BT sport.
I was to busy watching my pals horse Berrahri win the 4-55 at Chester at a rather juicy 16/1.
Well done Arsenal and a special well done to John Best.
