Ante post means that there is no certainty of who is running. In South Africa, it is very certain who is running the day before the race. For a Saturday meeting, the race card is usually published on a Wednesday and distributed Thursday prior. I hope those bookies who do not price up on a Friday get slaughtered on the Saturday.
