I have a sneaky feeling that Argentina are going to shock ThevAll Blacks at Wembley. Argentina are on the up and if they can keep it tight in the opening 20 minutes they will then start swinging the ball. Bosch will be the catalyst and win the game for Argentina

And to add insult to injury there is a good chance that a Japanese runner will win the Cape Town Marathon this morning

Not all over for the Boks just yet. In 1990 in the football World Cup Argentina lost 0-1 to the Cameroon in their opening match yet still went on and reached the final. So long as a team has a mathematical chance there is always hope. Problem with the Boks is that they don't learn by their mistakes. Is it the players or the coaching staff or maybe the opposing sides now know how to beat them because of their one dimensional play. I actually fear for them when they come up against Samoa on Saturday.

Yes they are one-dimensional - problem is it is too late to change - and anyway the players available were selected in the belief that we were good enough doing the basics to beat all takers. Unfortunately yesterday proved that theory to be flawed - it was blatantly obvious that some of the senior players (including the captain imo) are just not sharp and fast enough anymore to compete on the world stage.
So 'where do we go from here'? The simple answer is that heads should be picked up, tactics and selections (especially defensively) should be re-looked at; the problem is that I think almost everyone involved in the setup believed that we were good enough to win by at least 30 points against Japan - so this result must put a big dent in that confidence. The important thing is to really make the players believe that there is still hope.
And IF we can pick ourselves up and win the remaining games in the pool, we might be thankful for the loss if we end up 2nd in the pool (the way Japan played yesterday it is not impossible that they win their remaining pool games as well - the problem I think for them is to put yesterday's amazing performance behind them and treat the next game as if they did not beat the 'Boks)

True frodo. Come next Saturday and these older players will feel the heavy knocks early that the Samoans will dish out. Scotland and Samoa or Japan to go on into the knock out stages as I believe that this Bok team have no longer got the fightback ability in them

Who knows Johnny, next Saturday evening we may all be saying what a great win that was against Samoa. Time will tell, but 5 wins in the last 13 matches leads me to believe that's it's going to be 5/14

Bet of the day
Argentina to win as shocks often come in threes. We have had two already. Tonga losing to Georgia was a minor shock then yesterday and now the All Blacks will get a shock. Argentina are no mugs when it comes to the world cup

Helluva embarrassing..Boks and "management" had no ability to read the game or change tactics. Stereotype de luxe.We won the last RWC because of Eddie Jones and not Jake White.Oh boy and I will be in the UK for 3 weeks. Thank goodness for family, friends and the pleasure of touring.

Argentina to win 7/1
Argentina to win between 6 and 10 points 25/1
First points of the match an Argentina try 12/1
taken all three small outlay
