UK & Gowran Park Wednesday

R3 Newton Abbot Go Odee Go. Will find this much easier than his recent assignments in good quality handicaps. Shouldn't be troubled by dropping back in distance and his rider's claim will help to offset his winner's penalty. The opposition looks fairly weak apart from Anomaly who has been off the track for almost two years and is making his hurdling debut and the selection should be able to make his considerable experience count. 7/2 is a very good price.
R5 Newton Abbot Eddy E/W. Had been running well until disappointing when well fancied last time, but made a terrible mistake at halfway in that race which cost him any chance. This is a really weak handicap and his previous two efforts give him a decent chance in it. Should be capable of making the first four at least at a very generous 12/1.

Gowran looks competitive. Hollywood Road in the opener looks likely

My Meteor used to love Bath and has often in the past run very well. Gone off the boil but may just sneak in a good run

R3 Bath Noor Al Haya E/W. Likes this track, stays well and has plenty of form on fast ground. Needs to be covered up and brought with a late run and wasn't really suited by the small field last time. Should get plenty of cover and the strong pace she needs tonight and can go well at around 8/1.
