Easy, i am not a "local is lekker" believer but based on Anthony's time in Hong Kong and the rides in Dubai although not a very long stint i do believe he would qualify as being more than ordinary. However, i am not here to champion Anthony's cause but i am also not going to knock him.

CS, is very good as stated before but he has not been without controversy with the same esteemed owners. I also believe that top competitors/sports people should be conscious of what they do off the field of play as well. If they do not want to get big salaries then step out of the limelight and go bush racing where anything goes and you can do whatever off the field of play....

Bone might have done well in HK but when they do really well they stay.....
At the end of the day its about opinion and stats....
For me i would rather back the following on a horse ahead of Bonje BUT that does not mean he is poor, it just means that in my mind they are better...

I agree with your choices but the list has some holes......
Striker has not had an overseas stint and I don't think Anthony returning had anything to do with his success rate....even a mediocre strike rate in HK out earns SA racing 10 times over.

If I am not mistaken Anthony broke records as an appy that many on your list never came close to and has won in more countries than some mentioned....

For me he is world class and has faults like any human but That's just my opinion and we all know what opinions are like....
