I feel sorry for Mike De Kock, having this poser on some of he's runners..
Ive had a ew lucky 15 and first two have gone in at 5/1 and 9/2..
Up steps The Dimwit on the 3rd and he decides to anchor the heavily backed fav(7/2 into 2/1) at the back of a 6 runner field of a dawdle of a pace in soft ground, the horse is a front runner.
Up steps The Dimwit in the 4th,got it settled in 5 th coming into the straight and decides to
try and squeeze through a gap not one,but three times, always trying to look clever.
No gaps until way to late and finishes 4th pulling a cart.

Is there a more infuriating jockey than Soumillion?
I would love to know MDKs opinion on him,I know hes getting a lot of the rides because of the retainer, but he's farked a few up in Dubai.

I have had both ride for me. Give me Anthony any day! Mrs O would not even talk to him after he completely ignored instructions on Gaudi in Jhb. Horse was never the same again and retired.

Make no mistake he has got talent but I think he gets a bit big headed at times and tries to show off rather than just ride the bloody horse.

For those who may not know

"But there is also the memory of his unfortunate "celebration" after winning the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes on Hurricane Run. Soumillon pointed a finger at his backside, and then licked it, right in front of the grandstand. It may just have been an attempt at a joke that failed in translation from the Belgian, but many took it as a gesture of contempt towards the British fans. He was then jocked off Hurricane Run in favour of Mick Kinane when he ran in the Champion Stakes a few months later".

Any dumpling can ride in grade1s, easier to ride superstars.. ( albeit most top jocks have to earn the right to ride the best )

But unlike Moore and Marcus SOUM forgets how to ride on a wet monday
