Team Valor has a nice runner after recently purchasing Belvoir Bay ( 1st race Goodwood ) but the ground might have gone against him.

R2 Goodwood Shared Equity E/W. Very consistent northern-based handicapper who likes soft ground. Hasn't been sent all the way down to Goodwood for nothing and can go well at 14/1.

R2 Cartmel Maybe I Wont E/W. Very well handicapped these days and has his ideal conditions in a weak race here. Tom Scudamore is a good jockey booking and can go well at around 6/1.

R3 Cartmel Volcanic. Has been disappointing over fences, but his chase form is far better than that of any of his rivals here and this should be his day. 6/4 is a good price.

R6 Cartmel Miss Macnamara E/W. Finally got off the mark over hurdles last time (has won five times on the flat) and should be able to build on that. Nicely handicapped and should run a big race here at around 5/1.

One more for today. R5 Redcar Dew Pond. Off the mark last time over course and distance after some near misses. That will have boosted his confidence and he can go in again in a weak race. 3/1 a fair price.
