Subject: "WESTERN CAPE BOOKIES WITHDRAW FROM COURT CASE

On 13 July 2015 the Kwazulu-Natal Bookmakers' Society ("KZNBS"), the
Gauteng Off-Course Bookmakers Association ("GOBA") and the Western Cape
Bookmakers' Association ("WCBA") served notice of their intention to make
application to the Pretoria High Court for orders, inter alia, declaring
that Phumelela and Kenilworth Racing are unlawfully operating a totalisator
sports betting operation.
Phumelela was notified yesterday that the WCBA had resolved to withdraw its
support for and association with the above-mentioned proceedings and have
instructed the attorneys of record to file a notice of withdrawal of the
WCBA as a co-applicant."
