Can anyone explain why every monday there are scratchings from jhb trainers with reason no transport? Dont they book transport for the day? Every single monday there are a few.I thought the horse transporters would travel nationwide.

Bob, transporters charge between 1,5k - 3k per horse to transport to kimberley from gauteng.
our stable is in north west and also 460km from kimberley but our owners dont get charge for any of their runners to and from kimberley and Human stable charge half what 80% of gauteng trainers charge.... a no brainer if you have a horse not earning in gauteng to give a chance in lesser centre .

This is not about the lack of "nominations" thus far but...
does anyone fancy any particular horse quite strong today?

so far only song jet for places maaaaaaaaaaybe e/w. prob part of a fixed 4 place double with pena palace cos there isn't value backing song jet alone for places, I really think it'll be in the top 4 though - read the trainer comments.
still would also like to here what if people like (not fond of the term fancy/s) any horses strongly.
like matadorres el torros in the 8th for places too, might actually make my place double song jet and him.

Well ,yes and no ................
Coral Key ran to an 80 on the 8/10 Vaal sand and, although over 1200m ,showed enough pace to have this field stone cold, based on that run.............and has already won at Kimberly,so that is not an issue.
That's the form ,but patterns say, watch out for the stable companions!
