Could be good for a place purpose Dave but just wondering if its last win is suggesting might be better over further now for win purposes.
Interested in Harringtons LADY CHAMPLAIN in this. Shown good form over hurdles and might just be an improving 3yo which if continuing back on the flat could make it a decent bet.
My main interest today is ROYAL HOLIDAY (4.30 Red.). Makin is a very infrequent rider of this but is 3 wins from 4 rides with the other being placed. Seems to be some support which adds to the interest.

R1 Fakenham Anginola E/W. This is a terrible seller, but the selection is only a pound higher than when winning a much better race at Plumpton in April. Is coming back off a break, but has run well fresh in the past and today's conditions should be ideal. 8/1 isn't a bad E/W price with only eight runners.
R1 Downpatrick Banker Burke. John Monash will go off favourite here, but he has been a bit disappointing over hurdles so far. The selection brings plenty of solid hurdling form into the race and wasn't beaten far in a competitive handicap at Gowran last time. This is a weak race and Sportingbet's 11/4 is too big.

Two disappointments today, but one more tip. R5 Haydock Express Himself. Really can't see this being out of the first four here. Has his ideal conditions (has won over course and distance with give in the ground) and was far from disgraced in the Cambridgeshire last time when quietly fancied (race didn't really pan out for him). This is a massive drop in class and he looks sure to go well at a very attractive 8/1.

Final one for today. R2 Wolves If Winter Comes. Has easily the best form here, but has the worst of the draw. Her draw means that she is currently a bigger price than she should be on form (is a 5/4 shot on form for me). She shows plenty of early pace, however, and that might enable her to get across from the wide outside early on. If she does, she will be very hard to beat against this weak field of maidens. The 9/4 being offered by Ladbrokes is potentially a very good price.
