Work riders -Should therefore be all fair and every jock trying.
Brisk look at the card and
Race 1- Le Clos -should win .
race 4 -Rain in Africa .
Odds are very skinny though.

Was sound cloud not heavily backed before it was scratched at the gates a couple weeks back?

Confirmed. 7/2 a very good price in a pretty poor field. Ziggy's boy the only other horse worth a mention outside of the first timer.

For once I can not agree, how the 'people in power' can close a track without a viable alternative even in the budget - boggles the mind - and where will all those sand specialists go - very sad state of affairs imo

will there be any point in keeping the Vaal turf track open ? Has to be the most biased track in the country and boring to watch them run up that straight

I am not mad about the Vaal 'outside' track either - and we can debate the 'bias', but if I'm correct the Newmarket track in England is also a straight track - does not seem to be too many complaints about racing on that

Point is imo closing a track is always bad news, especially for owners - just another nail in the coffin for the 'small' owner
