First two races have been farcical. A few in the know benefiting at the expense of the punting masses again. SA racing just continues its suicidal path...

[I like the comments here. Ive had no bet today but looking at the pages would have went for favourite in the 1st. That also happens here in Uk commentators say things just when loading up. Frustrating but you lads are good enough to bounce back. So when you do hit them hard & hopefully ill be with you. Good luck for the rest of the card.quote="TheBluntPunt" post=582758]

What's our feel of this card ? One to go light on, one to stay away from, one to run away from , or a profitable one.

I've yet to study it.

Will post when I have.

Mckenzie Spies PA, all their runners must be included but PA only for me. Guest Lodge best bet on todays card

breaking my own superstitious rule and telling you guys I need guest lodge to close a big win double (my silver fox was the first leg).

COMEON!

Guest lodge in the final field racing for R250,000 maiden on Saturday.............don't want to piss on your battery, but have to wonder how hard they will try to get out of the maidens today and therefore become disqualified for Saturday!

(BTW,quite a few maiden runners t'morrow in the same boat)

The same thing happened last year with Carter and I was convinced they'd ensure that he stayed a maiden for the 250k one but it didn't happen, can see the same occurring here

Think if you look at the fields, a horse like guest lodge has no chance in that 250k maiden so makes sense they tried to get the win here.

Yeah agreed but would've lost even more on transport fees going to the race I think. Will never forget Carter, was my best bet on that card before I brassed it on the 250k logic (that one actually had a good chance of winning the 250k one in fairness) Spies has the first reserve so he'll still get a horse in the race.

I would agree with that entirely.............except it was entered and the nomination fee paid ............a donation?

(They backed the horse in a feature, in its first start,so hard to know what they think...... :P )
