Unlikely Story?

This horse makes debut in Race 1 today - Must be a story here. The only reference I can find to the sire GOT THE NOD is that he was unplaced in 9 starts, running cricket scores behind, and is recorded as a gelding. I have no idea if this is that horse or not. The dam was also unplaced - Seems a match made in hell or is there more to to this story?

Sahorseracing does not have a gelding date for him so perhaps formgrids is incorrect - his MR is 34 while the dam was a 40 - Must be a record for two below par animals to produce offspring - I hope it runs well for them as that would be a fairy-tail of note.

Finished 14th - 12 lengths behind so can only improve but I would not be looking to buy a leg in him on that run

i heard that Got the nod was being led to the Vet/Surgeon to be gelded. On the way however he broke free from the groom and was running loose. By chance at the same time Pink rock canyon was being led to the Float on her way the Avontuur stud farm where she was gonna be mated with VAR.
At this time Got the Nod took what was his last chance and should we saY banged Pink Rock Canyons bones before they could catch him.
And now we have an UNLIKELY STORY

if you look at the ages then one can piece it together.
the parents are 5 yo and the colt is a 3 yo
i think
so on the farm a yearling colt jumped a yearling filly and all three are now in training together. and sadly all equally useless. maybe the story will have a happy ending who knows.
