Stable jock in joburg to ride the stables group winner in a race where the first prize is way more

Cheers flaunt, reason I posted the question is Drier has had much more success in cpt (and I do stand to be corrected), just something that caught my eye.

Race 5, handicap: #4 ILLUMINATOR; easy and impressive in his only run; beat two subsequent winners and a subsequent runner-up; 22/10 is on offer
Race 8, pinnacle plate: #1 CAPTAIN AMERICA; easy and impressive winning the Horse Chestnut; very classy; weighted to win by far; jockey Orffer is hot and trainer Crawford is in form; runs fresh; 15/10 is on offer
Prosperous punting
Captain America on his bike winning the Horse Chestnut

This card is equally as difficult as the Turffontein card. This could be a long painful day, hoping New Zealand can win by more than 6.5 points, then all may not be lost.
Back to the racing, race 6, if Master's Eye is a 4/1 shot, then the mis-spelt Surruptitious should be 3.75/1 at the weight turn-around. Truly believe this horse will have a winning chance provided the apprentice allows the horse to use it's stride from a wide draw - the good old nothing ventured nothing gained.
Not a strong fancy but worth a go at the odds.

Won't touch the Turf card other than possibly race-by-race plays for interest so out of boredom and frustration I arrived at my favourite racing centre :silly: Not studied in detail and no surprise if a blank but some thoughts anyway...
R1 At the prices, a small e/w on French Captain for me, back down in trip and though not a strong race, a repeat of his penultimate run must give him at least a place chance in another not so strong looking field.
R2 Of the raced runners, again at the prices, I would favour Free Agent with little confidence. Either newcomer won't need to be special to be involved. I'm chancing a small e/w with the less fancied Mega Secret who has a couple of half-siblings who have done ok to date, albeit that they were sired by Captain Al.
R3 La Flambee the most likely winner imo with the form of her debut working out fairly well but, my e/w shout is Wafiqah who ran very creditably on debut in a relatively strong field beating two debut winners and finishing 6th behind horses (including 3 boys) who have won 9/22 subsequent races.
R4 Plenty options. To win, possibly Moonlight n Roses who I only did not support on debut because of the draw which she actually overcame by going right across and finishing strong. A return to this c/d and she is a danger to all. Much stronger field here though of course. Emerald Rose may prove the biggest danger but I'll have R3 e/w on In the Know and R1 e/w on Glamour Girl.
R5 Illuminator is another debut winner (this time I was on
) taking on a fair bit stronger. Could go in again but given breaks, ground, courses, not striding etc I think Kilrain might be competitive here and is my e/w shout. Another Idea could be dangerous if coming on from his decent comeback run.
R6 With Bayern and pleased to see we arrived at the same one for pretty much the same reasons
R7 Preference is for Gorgeous Gaby. Chanukah may give her most to do.
R8 More befitting of the Turffontein card, one to pass for me.
Be(s)t of luck to all
