R3 Exeter Vibrato Valtat. Very well handicapped on his best form and won't mind the very testing ground today (one or two of his main rivals might not be ideally suited by it). Has good course form and will be hard to beat here. 5/2 is a nice price in this small field.

R5 Southwell Hold On Magnolia win or E/W. Brings easily the best form into this weak maiden and, if he acts on the surface, will be tough to beat. 5/1 is a very good price (will most likely go off shorter).

R7 Redcar Dew Pond. Has been knocking on the door lately and it should open today in a race where the opposition is very weak. Likes the track and handles soft ground. Only has With Hindsight to beat and 15/8 is a generous enough price.

What a horrid ride on Dew Pond.

Pushed all round the final bend for what reason exactly? He had a ton of horse but chose to put pressure on the leader far too soon. In those conditions he was always going to fall in a hole.

R6 Wolves Roxie Lot E/W. Well drawn and seems suited by blinkers and hold up tactics. This isn't a strong race and she should get a good tow into it before launching a late challenge under her capable apprentice. 9/1 is a nice E/W price.
