interestingly since the beginning of August this year the average track variant is slow. this is in contrast to how the track has been running since the beginning (june-2014) until july this year. in that period the average track variant was fast. it could be that slow/bad horses are running or the ground is heavy.

In fairness thru October and the first half of November there has been 57 Races with 22 favorites winning and also 12 2nd favorites giving 34/57 races being won by the top 2 in the betting which is a decent average surely??

The better three year olds and older horses for that matter are just about to make their seasonal debuts and the ones which are running are relatively unexposed and do get rolled by other three year olds and or older horse with worse exposed form, but the penny has dropped (on race day) and arrives at any price.

I don't believe the track has anything to do with it, after all, they all running on the same track, not like the winner ran on the turf all alone.

Just my opinion.

The standard of horses running in KZN is way below Gauteng - How else will a 6 yr old, (rated 32-45) maiden get 9 runs in Maiden company this year - Bad horses make for bad results

BUURRN - look at this form

You cannot blame the owner and trainer as they have a right to see their horse run but how bad must the nominations be if the horse can get into a race.

Mr. H I am not blaming the owner or the trainer, that is what is catered for at that time of the year, it's not the feature race material so there is bound to be some really bad results. I don't believe the track is the problem.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.
